On 23rd September, Zunyi Normal University held The 8th China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week----ASEAN Student Chinese Character Dictation Competition. We sent 5 Laos students competed with universities with Masters and Doctors’ degree. With the highest scores, our school won the first group prize, and students Li Wenkang won the second personal prize.

The competition hosted by the ministry of foreign affairs, the Ministry of Education, the Guizhou provincial people's government, Zunyi Normal College, which is the 8th China-ASEAN Education Exchanges Weeks subproject. The International students are from Thailand、Indonesia、Cambodia、Malaysia、Vietnam、Laos and gathered in Zunyi Norma College for attending competition to enjoy Chinese character culture. The schools taken part in are:Southwest University、Guizhou University、Guilin University of Technology、Sichuan University of Art and Science 、Zunyi Normal College、Leshan Normal University、Kaili University、Guizhou Minzu University、Tongren University and Chengdu Textile College.

It is reported, The 8th China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week opened on 3^rd August in Guiyang.  "Learn each other mutual well-being of the future" as the theme, about education policy planning and development, student and youth exchanges, teachers' visits, talent training and employment, science and technology cooperation, running schools, production-study-research cooperation and cultural exchange has  been carried out as a series of activities.
