First “One Belt One Road” International Cultural Art Week Opens in September. The exchange students and teachers from India and Indonesia, our Laos’s overseas students and Thai students form Southwest Jiaotong University participate this event. Workshops, Xicun Fashion Show, student exchange program activities, Exhibitions are to carry out in the art week.

The grant Opening Ceremony receives hot attention from the provincial leaders, colleagues from other colleges and some social celebrities.

Indian teachers and students are divided into 4 groups to do handiworks, namely, Chinese Knot Design, Braiding and Paper Cutting, Hand Printing and Digital Printing, Shu-embroidery, Chinese Calligraphy and Drawing.

All the students and teachers are fantastic about the traditional arts and speak highly of the assistance from our teachers and volunteers in each workshop.

Indonesian teachers and students have English tourism classes, experience Chinese calligraphy and drawing workshop, visit Jinsha Museum and Giant Panda Breeding Base, and they also do the fantastic fashion show in Xicun. They have pleasant time in our college, in Chengdu, in China.

The hospitality of our teachers and volunteer, the beautiful views of Chengdu, the interesting activities give deep impression to Indonesian guests. It will be ones of the most unforgettable experiences in their lives.
